Forum: forums Subject: ISO video files not deriving formats

Good afternoon,

I am in the process of uploading a collection of video interviews as ISO images.

So far, out of 5 uploaded ISO's only 1 has derived alternate formats. Can you help me with this issue?

All titles starts with "Tulane University School of Medicine [videorecording] : Department of Psychiatry & Neurology : DVD interviews for departmental oral history"

Only #2 (http://www.archive.org/details/TulaneUniversitySchoolOfMedicinevideorecordingDepartmentOf_328) has made any derivatives. The other 4 have not.

Not derived from ISO:

Is there any update regarding this issue? As of this morning (3/15) the alternate formats and streaming player have still not been derived.

your .iso files are severely broken, perhaps truncated.
i just redid this one with some workaround code

http://archive.org/details/TulaneUniversitySchoolOfMedicinevideorecordingDepartmentOf_959

and found all but chapter 1 was botched/busted/missing.
workaround will allow deriving at least what it can, which was 1 long video for this item. what you you think that .iso contains? just 1 video or more?

i got this one to derive

http://archive.org/details/TulaneUniversitySchoolOfMedicinevideorecordingDepartmentOf_668

we'll just derive what we best can from now on, in spite of any missing parts of ISO image or damage...
